Honours Year Group Poject;

After being approached by a live client, our honours year group project was to design a new museum/ attraction centre in the area of Kinross. The centre will showcase the journey of flight to space travel over the years. Something the client is very passionate about.

The location of the project is ideal as Kinross is located within the central belt of Scotland, only an hour’s drive away from the capital Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. Not only is the location near main cities, the area of Kinross also houses are sports. This also highlights that the location is ideal for a museum of this kind.

As this was a group project made up of a team of 7, everyone within the group had different roles and input from the original design process to the finished drawings.

My involvement within the project was primarily:

- Electrical drawings

- Internal wall detailing
- Lighting calculations
